All insurance agents need both forms of marketing, although being found locally is super important you need to make sure you are being found in more than just your city. If you are a brand new agent it is usually the best strategy to start marketing in your local area first to gain some traffic. Once you feel like you have gained some dominance in your local area then you can start expanding your marketing efforts.
